This photo was taken as the sun had breached the horizon and was visible through the clouds in the distance. The rain was moving in from behind me which led to wonderful skies! I managed to time it well as It didn't start raining until I had packed up, but I did however get soaked by an incoming wave! Luckily inexpensive trainers and a liking for seawater I managed to keep my EQ away from any danger!
The Pont del Petroli is a dock of Badalona built for the unloading of petroleum products from tankers and, since 2009, remodeled as a space for citizen and scientific use. It is located on the beach of Pont del Petroli , opposite the Passeig Marítim of the Progrés neighborhood , entering the sea about 250 m with a height of 6 m.
Its a super easy place to get to when in Barcelona! For me, I headed to the Arc de Triomfe Metro Station and jumped on a Rodalie out of town. Get one that stops of a Badalona (three stops from the metro) and turn your head to sea :)
Having watched a few videos online regarding interesting techniques to achieve in camera transitions I spent a few hours walking around Barcelona one Sunday afternoon experimenting with what I saw. Results are pretty interesting and something Im definitely going to try and utilise more.

THREE HOURS & UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES
A couple hours on the beach and a quick edit to pass the time while producing somthing that will always bring a smile to my face! Video hasn't really been my thing but Im slowly starting to appreciate its use and power. A long road ahead but every step is progress.

500 DAYS IN A 90 CM BED | 500 DIAS COMPARITIENDO UNA CAMA DE 90 CM
'Work, finish, race home, shower, pack, don't forget the passport and drive to the airport. Sleep in the terminal, wake up, pass through security and board the plane. Gaze through the clouds and await the time you've been waiting for - The hand thats been missed and the laughter thats brought back to life with the shortening of distance. A 90cm bed being home for what is always too short of time, before pushing it all away and leaving once more.'
Long distance can be painful, but for the right person its not a chore. Its not even hard work, It is what you make of it. When you find that someone, whoever it may be, distance is just the answer to a question that doesn't need answering.
I made this video as a reminder that when things get tough, you should never give up on the things that bring happiness.
ITS ALWAYS ONE DAY FURTHER FROM THE LAST, AND ONE DAY CLOSER TO THE NEXT.
